Hi there and welcome to Mind Over Munch
two ingredient takeover. Where I make
delicious recipes out of two simple
ingredients. Today I’m making my
two ingredients tortillas. The two
Start by pouring your flour into a bowl
or measuring cup.
Then add in your water and an optional pinch of salt.
Whisk well to get rid of any lumps. I like
to use a measuring cup for
easy pouring on the skillet. Place a large
pan over medium heat and spray it down. Pour
a little bit of batter right into the
center of the pan and then immediately
lift it up and rotate the pan around to
let the batter spread out into a nice
flat circle. Getting a perfect circle
with these tortillas does take
practice as they can be a little bit
but that’s okay they don’t have to be
perfect. Much like a pancake
once it starts to bubble and crisp up on
the edges about one and a half to two
you’re gonna wanna flip them over. These
can be delicate to flip so just be patient.
Allow to cook for a minute or so on this
side and then I like to flip them back over
one more time
for just about thirty seconds to make
sure they’re cooked through completely.
place on a baking rack to cool. Repeat
this process until you’ve used up
all of your batter. You’re gonna wanna keep
cool completely before you serve them.
Even if they seem a little bit crisp on
the edges at first,
once they cool down completely they will
be easily malleable
and perfect for your tacoing needs.
And there you have it
your two ingredient tortillas. Easy,
and healthier than store bought tortillas.
And they’re only
two ingredients. A quick note before
you ask wheat
and oat flour don’t quite do this recipe justice,
you’re gonna end up with more
of a crepe than a tortilla.
So stick to the quinoa flour and if you
can’t find quinoa flour remember you
can always get it online
or make your own by blending up quinoa.
As always you can click right here or in the
description box below to download the
PDF that includes
this recipe for you to keep for later.
And you can always find it on
