welcome friends we are obviously not in
studio today we are in Mexico City and
we came to Mexico City to do a bunch of
things but one of them is to eat of
course and tonight we’re going to eat
tacos al pastor so we came to this part
of the city earlier in the day and we
checked out a bunch of the al pastor
places as they were setting up we
watched them put together the trompo
carry the trompo out and put it in and we
learned a lot so now we’re gonna go and
eat some al pastor
here we go
that’s really good tasty that is really
good mm-hmm
I was a little worried about this also
it might have been too hot but it’s not
not at all really flavorful because
there’s like a dozen out fest or places
along this street so we’re gonna hit a
few of them we’re gonna compare them as
much as we can
I’m sure they’re all different because
what am i understanding is there’s four
different kinds of tacos al pastor and I
have to imagine the of the places along
the streets most of them would do
something I’m afraid all you’re gonna
get my snow from the radius that’s
really good you want

so this is tacos el just to see told
Jericho climbin when I did this in life
excellent okay so here we go
it’s spice differently Tomica spice the
truffle was a different collards which i
think is quite interesting so they use a
different type of a different
combination of spices happiness
was there such a thing as a bad customer
top
so far not one that I have done already
I probably like that to eat well I took
my Apple in it mm-hmm I’m looking
forward to our next stop on the street
because we’ve only gone up a walk
not even continued
our Spanish not so great so here we are
el gabacho Spanish nuts are great and
dress it with onion and cilantro and so
select raw onion I had
wonderful crispy and again at this place
the the Trump Oh is more of a yellow
than a bright orange or red which is
interesting and a little bit too big I’m
gonna make a mess you have the red of
the game then what’s given at the bike
man you just gotta fight it out yeah no

that and remind me I don’t put any on
but this is right to that there’s white
it’s really good like the the flavor is
again completely different than the
other places
I can see how you would eventually find
the one that you like best and favor
that would have all the time go back the
backpack oh yeah
there’s enough variation that you’re
going to find one that completely fits
your your flavor profile and I’ve
learned about myself my score is not one
thing it’s not a model if he is a
complete finish these people even
there’s a bunch more tea
we just discussed okay so this place is
different than the other ones that we’ve
been to
they didn’t slice it up the truck code
they’d already taken it off and they
flat top so should be crispy
so it’s crispy and I know that there’s a
lot of people who like that crispy and
that’s the one that they want so let’s
give it a go and our Spanish failed
somewhere to eat we ended up with more
than okay there’s a really good green
salsa here that looks like tomatillo
there’s people but now that the meat is
is flavorful
it is very depression if it is beginning
I guess way off the others are sort of
side by each different foot side by each
and this one is way on the outside which
could be if you really like it that’s
what you come for
mm-hmm this one maybe not so much to my
liking in comparison to the other one
we’ll just keep trying

you know what for my flavor I think this
was my favorite hence we’ve returned to
the floors let’s into the first one to
try it again just to make sure it’s
gonna be messy place is back which

really all right think we can do this at
home I’ve got a couple of beer kegs in
the basement of course you think we can
do this another I’ve got a couple of
beer kegs and I think I could build
charcoal fires one of these okay and we
could do this in the backyard and have
just a rip-roaring party okay that that
trumple is too big but they might have
to be a little bit smaller because when
we were here earlier in the day and
there and they were putting that thing
together had to have wait I don’t know
300 pounds there’s a lot of meat on that
yeah that’s too much this we’re gonna
make a smaller one I’m gonna see if I
can turn a full-sized beer keg into a
charcoal burning
I’ll pest or vertical spit projects my
friend I’ve got a project so I’m gonna
finish this and sometime in the next few
weeks you’re gonna see me try to well
and cut steel and build something we’ll
see how that goes
