Hello everyone, My name is Priti Nath Guru
Today I’ve brought some health tips for people who do frequent travelling
In result they have to face some health issues like Weight Gain, Diabetes, BP & problem of Joints Pain
So let’s discuss those problem which occurs because of frequent travelling
Either its long or short distance, the schedule of your food & patter of exercises got disturb due to travelling
Although these problems happens but try to follow your diet & exercise pattern as much as you can
As much as you’ll try to deviate it, it will be beneficial for you
To keep a check on this, start maintaining a diary where you can mention your daily activities
Where you’ll mention that throughout the day what all you’ve taken
So that you’ll be able to know, where you’ve deviate and if you are checking your weight daily
Then what are those things behind your weight gain
So here you can switch to some healthy food
If you are travelling for short distance then I would suggest you to get your lunch/dinner packed by home
So that you can have healthy food outside
If you are travelling for long distance and you have to stay in any hotel
First of all you should avoid their welcome drink or any kind of sugary foods
Generally fruits served in hotels are dipped in sugar so it would be better if you order & have fresh fruits instead
Don’t allow anyone to lead while ordering food yourself as in this way you can order as per your requirement
If you are in India, there are several food items which are easily available in any part of India
For example – Rava Idli, Dhokla, Plain Rava Dosa, Roti
Tandoori Roti, Naan. Keep your preference in sequence
If you get Roti easily otherwise can go for Tandoori Roti otherwise can go for Plain Naan
Or Missi roti, so this way notice on your preferences
Try to take as much as vegetable you can and avoid the gravy part
If you are an vegetarian you have option for Cottage Cheese, Pulses/lentils & Sprouts
If you are an non-vegetarian, you can take either Chicken or Fish
If you are travelling overseas, then you can take sea food
Make sure that whatever non-veg food item you are taking that should be grilled
It shouldn’t be deep fried or marinated as well, so this way you can order your food
Try to have breakfast, but if you are in overseas & unable to find Roti etc then you can take breads
Avoid garlic bread and go for brown bread
Because a slice of plain or brown bread contains 70-80 calories
Whereas a garlic bread contains 130 -140 calories
Which is just double of plain bread even after being smaller in size
So try to take brown bread
You can take fresh fruits
As I have given option so take such meal in the afternoon
Try to avoid the dinner, because if you are taking heavy food twice a time
And in dinner you can prefer clear vegetable soups or chicken soups
Fruits and soups should be the option for dinner however you can take proper breakfast & lunch
Secondly due to travelling your exercise patters get disturb
So whenever you get the chance, even if you are travelling by car and in between taking break
Then you can do walk for sometime
If you are travelling by plane and if when you are getting chance on airport you can do walk
If you don’t have space available for walking then you can do some activities like deep breathing
Or you can keep moving your hands and feet so that there will be no stiffness
And with deep breathing you will some calories as well
Also you must take some fluids like:- Water, Lemon Water.
In India you’ll easily get Butter Milk, Sweet Butter Milk
But here also you have avoid full cream based Butter milk or such products
So you have to keep a little check on this, that what kind of food items you should take
With which you can maintain your weight
When you’ll start maintaining your diet dairy and you’ll start watching your activity schedule
Also when you’ll check your weight regularly then you’ll be able to find out the harmful food items
And accordingly you’ll be able to do correction in it
I hope the tips I’ve shared will be beneficial for you
At least you’ll be able to maintain your weight even if you are not able to reduce it
